KAMIC is now looking for a service technician who wants to work with service, troubleshooting, and commissioning of technical systems. About the Position KAMIC is strengthening its service operations and seeking a service technician who wants to be part of continued development. You'll join an established business with existing customers and service agreements, while there are ambitions to further develop and grow the service business. As a service technician, you'll primarily work with emergency lighting and central emergency lighting systems, UPS/backup power and battery systems, and shielding technology/EMC. Assignments vary from planned preventive maintenance to commissioning, repairs, and more advanced troubleshooting. The role involves considerable personal responsibility and you'll largely plan your own service rounds and customer visits. Travel and overnight stays are a natural part of the position. The placement is primarily in Western/Southern Sweden, preferably the Gothenburg area. Responsibilities In this role, you will: Perform service, maintenance, and commissioning of KAMIC's systems Troubleshoot, repair, and address technical and electrical problems Plan, document, and follow up on your service assignments Provide technical support and advice, and identify future service and replacement needs for the customer You'll work closely with the service manager and other KAMIC colleagues, but will largely drive your assignments independently at the customer site. About You We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of electrical technology who thrives in a role combining practical work with problem-solving and customer interaction. Your background could be in electrical work, automation, technical service, maintenance, or commissioning. You're curious about technology and motivated to develop your skills with new products and systems. At KAMIC, you'll progressively build knowledge in UPS, emergency lighting, and shielding technology, with the goal of becoming independent within these systems. As a person, you're self-directed, solution-oriented, structured, and thorough. You take responsibility for your own planning and drive your assignments from start to finish. Since you represent KAMIC at customer sites, you're also communicative and committed to building strong, long-term customer relationships. Requirements Good understanding of electrical technology and ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical systems Relevant technical experience, for example in electrical work, automation, technical service, maintenance, or commissioning B-class driver's license and ability to travel and stay overnight for work Good knowledge of Swedish and English Basic computer skills Merits Electrician background or electrical license Experience with UPS, backup power, or battery systems Experience with emergency lighting, automation, or commissioning Experience with EMC/shielding technology What We Offer At KAMIC, you'll get an independent and varied role with great freedom to plan your work and take responsibility for your assignments.
