About the Company Industri-Teknik Bengt Fridh AB, based in Arlöv, was founded in 1969 and is part of INIVI Group. The company specializes in various types of combustion equipment for heating, drying, destruction, preheating and more for Nordic and international industrial customers. The company has a design department and workshops for mechanical, electrical control and regulation technology as well as ceramic manufacturing. With long experience and strong relationships with both Swedish and international customers, they have built unique expertise in burner technology and safety processes. Currently, the company has approximately 20 employees and is embarking on an exciting growth journey. Virtually all production takes place in-house, from initial concept to test run before delivery. About the Position As a service technician at Industri-Teknik Bengt Fridh AB, you will be an important part of an experienced team where you work with troubleshooting, service and installation of industrial heating and combustion systems. Service includes both gas and oil installations, mounted on combustion plants, steam boilers, air heaters and afterburning chambers. The position requires several years of experience in electrical work, mechanics or other relevant background. Additionally, it is important that you have the ability to be organized, prioritize and follow safety regulations with great precision. Your main responsibilities will include: - Perform service, troubleshooting and maintenance of burner systems and related components, focusing on both electrical and mechanical parts, as well as oil installations, combustion plants, steam boilers and air heaters. - Carry out installation and commissioning work on systems, including cable routing, assembly work and safety settings according to strict procedures. - Plan and conduct customer visits, primarily within Sweden, but international travel may also occur. - Participate in on-call operations according to a rotating schedule to ensure quick support for customers with downtime. - Document completed work for billing and quality follow-up. - Work closely with the production team and participate in training to continuously build on your technical expertise. About You To fit this role, we primarily see that you have a genuine technical interest, preferably topped with an understanding and curiosity about electronics and mechanics, and a drive to broaden your expertise in these areas. You have some form of electrician background, preferably in combination with installation or automation experience, and are comfortable with mechanical work. Previous experience as a service technician, electrician, or similar is a merit. The following are requirements for the position: - Experience with service and maintenance work in industry, preferably within electrical, mechanical or automation. - Good understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, and ability to read and interpret technical drawings. - High school level Swedish and English, as the role requires both technical documentation and customer communication in both languages. - Driver's license category B, and flexibility to travel and work in different locations in Sweden. - A problem-solving and independent approach, with good ability to handle both urgent and planned service matters.
