As a Service Technician at Schindler Hiss, you'll step into a varied and responsible day-to-day role. You'll work with service, maintenance, and repair of elevators and escalators for our customers in Göteborg and the surrounding area. This is not a job where you're stuck in an office. In this role, you plan your own day, meet customers in the field, and solve technical challenges directly on-site. For more information about the position or the recruitment process, please feel free to contact responsible recruitment consultant Simona Möller via email: [email protected] Responsibilities Plan and perform service and repairs of elevators and escalators Maintain continuous contact with customers in the field and build long-term customer relationships Perform technical troubleshooting and handle advanced problem-solving Create order and structure in your workday and prioritize among multiple simultaneous tasks Quickly adjust and change direction when emergencies or new priorities require it Qualifications High school education with technical focus (preferably electrical and/or building technology) or equivalent experience Several years of experience working within elevators, electromechanics, or similar field Experience with customer contact and good service orientation Valid driver's license (category B) for cars Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing Meritorious: Basic computer skills with PC and handheld devices About the Company Schindler Hiss AB Schindler Hiss AB is one of the leading suppliers of products and services in the elevator and escalator industry and has been present in the Swedish market since 1955.
