Take the next step in your technical career! CME in Kungälv is seeking a Service Technician for a varied and important role in our operations that includes substantial customer contact. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES CME AB continues to grow and is now looking for a service technician who will work partly in the field at our customers' sites and partly in our machinery production in Kungälv. At CME, you work in a dedicated team where we build and assemble advanced grinding machines for rock drills from the ground up. The work is varied and includes multiple tasks. You service and repair machines sent to us, you travel to customer sites and perform repairs on location, you participate in the production of new machines when time permits. – CME builds its machines completely from scratch and assembles all components including mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, etc., through to the finished machine. The work requires good technical understanding and an interest in machine building. If you enjoy working with your hands and like building with LEGO and/or Meccano, this job is for you. Since there is considerable customer contact involved, we highly value social skills and would like to see that you enjoy taking time to talk and discuss problems with customers. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is technically interested and comfortable with practical work in a varied environment. You are a solution-oriented person who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. To succeed in this role, we would like you to have: Secondary school education Basic knowledge of mechanics Good ability to read drawings and technical documentation As a person, you are thorough, quality-conscious, and have logical thinking when solving technical problems.
