Become a service technician in district heating at Tekniska verken!
Do you enjoy solving technical problems, working hands-on, and meeting customers? As a service technician in district heating, you'll help ensure heat and comfort work safely and reliably in people's everyday lives. You'll have varied work close to both the technology and the customers. At the same time, you'll contribute to using energy in a resource-smart way – for a society that works today and tomorrow.
What you'll be working with
You'll become part of an engaged team that together is responsible for operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on customer systems in Tekniska verken's district heating network. In your daily work, you'll:
perform service and fix faults on customer systems for district heating and district cooling
handle operation and maintenance of ground heating
install and service hardware for additional services
be a reliable contact for customers and explain what's happening in a clear way
plan and carry out service assignments together with colleagues and suppliers
troubleshoot during operational disturbances and contribute to solutions that work in practice.
On-call duty is included in the role.
Is this you?
You are technically curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy putting knowledge into practice. Because you'll have contact with customers, colleagues, and other partners, you need to be service-minded, clear, and good at collaborating. You take initiative, work in a structured way, and want to deliver high-quality work.
We're looking for someone with:
Secondary education with a technical focus, for example energy or plumbing, or other experience we consider equivalent
good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
B-class driver's license
It's a merit if you have experience with similar tasks, plumbing, or electrical installation. Training in plumbing, operations technology, or control and regulation technology is also a plus.
