Job Description As a service worker with us, you'll meet many people in work where no two days are the same. You'll primarily work with facility maintenance, which means daily cleaning of patient rooms, waiting areas, reception rooms, and other spaces within the hospital. The role also includes other service-oriented tasks such as basic meal handling and patient transport. At a hospital, conditions can change quickly, which requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to new situations. You work closely with both healthcare staff and colleagues and are an important part of ensuring healthcare operates at its best. Tasks are performed near patients and therefore require high standards of service and customer care. Working hours vary and may include day, evening, and weekend shifts. Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, you are service-oriented, have good interpersonal skills, and enjoy helping others. You collaborate well with colleagues and actively contribute to a positive work environment. We're looking for someone with: Basic education at secondary school level Previous experience from a service profession Basic IT skills and experience using smartphones, tablets, email, and the internet Good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written Physical ability to walk and stand for most of the workday and perform heavy and repetitive tasks It is advantageous if you have: Education in healthcare, facility maintenance, or similar service professions Previous experience in a hospital or care environment As a person, you are social, helpful, and responsible.
