However, there are many other signs of summer on the horizon, and one of them is that wasps and other insects begin to wake up from their winter hibernation. Depending on weather and a number of other difficult-to-analyze factors, summer brings more or fewer wasps and other insects. For our client, who works with pest control, this means that heading into summer, they don't know how many pest control technicians they'll need – suddenly it can all kick off and the need for more service-oriented technicians can arise virtually overnight. For this reason, we are now proactively looking for someone who: Is available for immediate start and available to work during the summer Holds a B-class driver's license (the vehicle you'll be driving has automatic transmission) Has strong social skills and enjoys customer-facing roles Is not allergic to (or afraid of) wasps and other insect stings Speaks Swedish and English well, both verbally and in writing How Will This Work? This is a somewhat special job posting. Our client currently doesn't have a need to onboard new colleagues. However, they will very likely need new technicians during the summer. We will therefore: Publish this posting to connect with you if you're available for immediate start and interested in being available when our client's need arises Conduct interviews and complete our entire recruitment process while waiting for our client's need to emerge Follow up with you and other relevant candidates weekly to check your updated interest/availability if assignments should come up The ambition is that when the need for technicians does arise, you'll be booked in for an interview with the client with a chance of employment with immediate start and onboarding shortly after your interview. Responsibilities Drive to customers according to a planned route in a company vehicle Perform wasp nest removal at private residences and businesses throughout Stockholm Create confidence for the customer through professional and clear communication Document completed work via digital tools (mobile) Plan and execute your workday based on booked assignments Personal Qualities Responsible and reliable Service-oriented and pleasant in customer interactions Self-driven and proactive Solution-oriented Organized and punctual Communicative and confident when meeting with customers Meritorious Experience For this role, personal qualities and a willingness and ambition to do a good job are most important. However, it is meritorious (but not required) if you: Have experience in service roles or customer contact Have experience with practical or technical work Have driving experience over full days Have previous fieldwork (e.g., crafts, installation, or pest control) Some experience with similar work is meritorious but not required – the right attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued Our Client Offers Comprehensive training before assignment start Ride-alongs with experienced technicians during onboarding Access to an experienced team of technicians Support from the booking team that plans your assignments Ongoing support in daily work A varied and independent summer job About the Employment This is a consultant position with employment at OIO. The assignment is intended to run from the start date through the remainder of the summer/peak season.
