Service and Installation Technician with Welding Expertise!

We are now seeking a service and installation technician with a focus on welding and pipe systems. Here you will work practically with installation, service, and adaptation of technical equipment within water treatment. About the Position In this role, you will work on installation, commissioning, service, and retrofit of our client's machines at their customer locations. The position involves significant responsibility for pipe systems and welding tasks in projects. Work takes place in industrial environments and involves regular travel within Sweden and, when needed, to Norway and Denmark. You work in a team and maintain ongoing customer contact. Working Hours: Monday–Wednesday: 07:00–19:00 Thursday: 07:00–12:30 Responsibilities Installation and commissioning of machinery Welding and adaptation of pipe systems Service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance Retrofit work in existing facilities Work with pumps, valves, and related equipment Blueprint reading and technical documentation Material ordering and basic planning Customer contact related to assignments We Are Looking for You Have technical education at minimum secondary school level or equivalent experience Have experience with pipe welding in industrial or water/wastewater environments Have experience welding in stainless and carbon steel Have experience with TIG welding in stainless steel pipe systems Can work independently from blueprints Have practical experience adapting and connecting systems in existing installations Requirements Class B driver's license Strong blueprint reading skills Good tool handling skills Fluent Swedish, spoken and written Comfortable with travel-intensive work Welding licenses or certifications are advantageous but not required. Placement location is flexible and you do not need to be based in Borås to be considered for the position.
