Senior UX Designer – Automotive Lighting

Create intuitive digital experiences for vehicle lighting, central displays, and mobile apps in close collaboration with design and development teams. Do you want to create the future of user experiences in vehicle-related digital products? In this role, you'll design intuitive interfaces for lighting systems, central displays, and mobile applications. You'll work closely with designers, product teams, and engineers to transform ideas and user insights into actionable solutions. About the Role Senior UX position within vehicle-related digital product development. Focus on user interfaces and interaction for interior and exterior lighting systems. Work with both embedded systems, central displays, and mobile applications. Close collaboration between design, product, and development. What You'll Do Design and optimize UI and UX for vehicle-related lighting functions. Create interactive prototypes to explore and communicate new concepts. Analyze user feedback and conduct UX research and studies. Develop design specifications and documentation for development teams. Ensure consistent visual and functional experience across interfaces. What We're Looking For University degree in design with a focus on UX and visual ergonomics. At least five years of experience in UX or UI design within the automotive industry, consumer electronics, or related field. A strong portfolio showcasing design for touch-based interfaces and digital products. Solid understanding of iconography, screen layouts, interaction patterns, and user behavior. Experience translating concepts into technically and productionally feasible solutions. Technology & Tools Figma for UI design and prototypes. After Effects for motion graphics and concept visualization. Photoshop and Illustrator for visual design. UX research, user studies, and user feedback. UI specifications, prototypes, and design documentation. Practical Information Location: Göteborg. Work Style: Hybrid, with the office as the primary workplace and some opportunity for remote work. Language: Fluent English, spoken and written.
