Assignment Description
For a large government agency within the judiciary, we are now seeking a Senior System Developer (Fullstack Java/Angular). You will be part of a small, cross-functional team (developers, testers, requirements analysts, and project managers) focused on replacing, migrating, and further developing mission-critical systems that handle court judgments and penalty notices.
The role involves a high degree of independence and end-to-end responsibility in the development process – from requirements analysis and technical design to programming, testing, and system administration. You will play a key role in migrating functionality from legacy systems to a modern, robust, and maintainable system environment.
Your main responsibilities:
System Development & Migration: Drive the development and migration of systems for court judgments and penalty notices.
Technical Design: Transform business requirements into robust code and actively contribute to technical decisions and architectural choices.
Fullstack Development: Work with backend (Java EE, JBoss EAP), frontend (Angular), database (Oracle/MySQL), and CI/CD pipelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, requirements analysts, testers, project management, and business representatives.
Mentoring & Knowledge Transfer: Introduce new team members and actively transfer expertise to the agency's own personnel.
Mandatory Requirements
At least 9 years of documented experience in system development.
At least 5 years of professional Java development experience in Java EE environment (including Java 8) and experience with JBoss EAP.
At least 3 years of experience (obtained within the last 5 years) with Angular and AngularJS development.
At least 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) with Liquibase and Oracle or MySQL.
At least 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) with Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Linux.
At least 3 years of experience in agile development (within the last 5 years) and strong Swedish language skills (spoken and written).
Meritorious Requirements
Experience working at a large public agency.
Experience with migration projects and replacing legacy systems.
About the Assignment & Practical Information
Period: 2026-12-26 – 2027-12-26 (or as soon as possible after approved security clearance).
Option: Possibility of extension until 2029-08-26.
