About Lasia
We at Lasia believe in workplaces where people feel safe, valued, and treated fairly. Since 1987, we have developed smart systems that make it easy for employers to take responsibility for their employees and comply with the Employment Protection Act. Our clear mission is to contribute to a more just and fair working Sweden. We have approximately 240 municipalities across the country as customers, as well as several municipal companies and regions.
Lasia is an employer with long experience and deep knowledge, where new ideas, improvements, and development constantly drive us forward. Our 37 committed employees believe in making the journey together. You can feel this in a work environment where people support each other, take ownership, and collaborate to solve what matters. Our daily work combines focus and teamwork, with trust and care as natural elements.
The new Lasia platform has launched and the first customers are on board. Now we're looking for a senior system developer who wants to be part of the next phase. To further develop the platform, drive the migration from the WinLas system, and strengthen the team's overall delivery capability. This is a technically ambitious challenge for someone who wants to make a real difference.
About the Role
As a senior system developer at Lasia, you work in a team with deep domain expertise and high standards for accuracy. Our platform handles employment law calculations that affect real jobs. This isn't a context where errors are acceptable, which demands a lot from how we test, design, and reason about code.
You'll work in a relatively new codebase built on .NET and React, deployed in Kubernetes. TDD and BDD aren't just buzzwords for us—they're how we actually work. We've come far, but there's more to do, especially around continuous delivery and domain modeling. We hope you can contribute from your experience and help drive us forward.
In practice, this means you:
actively contribute to further developing the Lasia platform in .NET and React
participate in the migration from WinLas to Lasia—a concrete and technically demanding task
write tests that truly ensure correctness—TDD and BDD are your natural working methods
get involved early in the requirements process and help create clear, testable specifications
reason about architecture and domain modeling—and help ensure the system boundaries are clear
drive continuous delivery from "the prerequisites exist" to actually delivered
Who We're Looking For
We believe you're a developer who thinks broadly and doesn't just see the code in front of you. The system, the domain, and the consequences are important aspects. You pause and ask "why" before you start coding. You take ownership, deliver what you commit to, and enjoy sharing what you know.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
at least 5 years of documented experience as a system developer in a professional environment
deep knowledge of the .NET ecosystem—you're confident and move freely throughout the stack
practical experience with TDD and BDD as a genuinely lived working method
understanding of and experience with DDD in practice, not just in theory
experience with modern infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD
ability to communicate clearly—with both developers and non-technical colleagues
fluent Swedish in speech and writing
It's also a plus if you have:
post-secondary education in system development
experience handling large amounts of data
experience from legaltech, regtech, fintech, the public sector, or another domain with high correctness and security requirements
experience with GDPR, NIS2, or WCAG in a software context
experience working effectively with AI support in development—GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
Why Lasia?
We're building something we're proud of and we're doing it together. At Lasia, there's a culture where curiosity, care, and collaboration aren't just words on a wall—they're felt in everyday work. You'll step into a technically well-built environment with engaged colleagues, a clear direction, and a product that already makes a difference.
We believe different perspectives make us better
That's why we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and identities. At Lasia, we have breadth in age, life situations, and paths into working life, which we see as a strength.
Location and Flexibility
The position is based in Falköping and is full-time. We offer flexibility and the option to work from home 2 days per week.
Welcome to Apply
We use continuous selection and interviews. We want to give every candidate the same opportunity to show what's most relevant for the role. Therefore, we use a CV-free application where you instead answer a few questions about your experience and background.
