Together with Oddwork, Bit Addict is now seeking a Senior Software Developer with broad technical expertise and strength in backend to become part of their team in Göteborg. About the role As a Senior Software Developer at Bit Addict, you'll work on varying and technically challenging projects where your experience and breadth as a developer will shine. You'll work on different client projects and in different technical environments, which means you need to be comfortable diving into new systems, understanding new domains, and finding solutions to complex problems. The focus is on backend and systems development, but the role is intentionally broad. Depending on the project and client, you may work with different programming languages, technologies, and platforms. For example, you might encounter C++, Python, and .NET/C#, and we'd love to see that you have experience with multiple languages and technical environments. For Bit Addict, seniority isn't just about years as a developer. It's also about being able to understand a problem deeply, choose the right technical solution, and quickly navigate new environments. You'll become an important technical resource both internally and with clients, where you'll also need to communicate about technology, solutions, and your experience. We're looking for you who Have a solid background in systems and software development and over the years have worked on multiple different projects, assignments, or technical environments. You have a broad technical toolkit and feel particularly comfortable with backend development and object-oriented programming. We're looking for: A degree in engineering or computer science and at least 8 years of relevant experience in systems and software development Broad technical expertise with strength in backend development Experience with multiple programming languages and technologies, such as C++, Python, and .NET/C# Very good understanding of object-oriented programming and systems development Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new technologies, systems, and domains Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Ability to communicate about complex technology and present your experience clearly to clients and colleagues For this role, your technical breadth is especially important. We're therefore not looking for a developer who has only worked within a narrow technical area, but someone who is curious, flexible, and open to new technologies. You enjoy solving problems, have an easy time seeing the bigger picture, and are comfortable switching between different technical contexts.
