ABOUT THE COMPANY Our client is a Nordic venture studio company based in Stockholm that works hands-on building and developing digital products and tech companies. Unlike traditional consulting, the company works closely with founders and core teams, combining technical product development with investments and company building. Assignments vary from building new products and platforms from scratch with startups to solving complex technical challenges at larger established companies. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Backend/Fullstack Developer, you will have a broad and varied role where you combine hands-on development with technical ownership and business understanding. Your main focus is on backend development in Python and designing and developing scalable systems. Depending on the project, you will also work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and container-based environments. You will switch between different types of projects—from building a product from scratch with a small startup team to working with complex and business-critical solutions at larger organizations. You will also become part of an internal technical forum with other senior developers, DevOps specialists, and architects where you share knowledge and drive discussions around code quality, architecture, and modern technical solutions. YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and further develop scalable backend solutions with Python Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI Own CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows Work with cloud infrastructure, primarily GCP or AWS Build and further develop container-based solutions with Docker and Kubernetes Work with Infrastructure as Code through tools such as Terraform or Ansible Work closely with founders, product teams, technical specialists, and other decision-makers Switch between product development in startup environments and complex projects at larger organizations Explore and implement AI-based tools and workflows where they create concrete value WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: Have approximately 5–7 years of professional experience in backend or fullstack development Have very strong knowledge of Python and experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI Have experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP or AWS Have worked with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices and container technology such as Docker and Kubernetes Have experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform or Ansible Have previous experience from consulting or working in several different types of projects and environments Communicate fluently in Swedish and English AI and Modern Development Tools You don't need to be an AI/ML specialist, but we'd like to see that you're curious about the field and have already started using AI as a natural part of your work. This could mean, for example, that you have experience with AI agents or autonomous workflows, use tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot to streamline development, or have been involved in building AI functionality in modern applications. It is a merit if you have: Experience with frontend development using React or Next.js Previous experience from startup or scale-up environments Experience implementing AI functionality in fullstack or backend environments ABOUT THE POSITION This is an opportunity for you who want more than a traditional developer or consultant role.
