Do you believe in a bright and sustainable future? About the Role as Senior Project Manager Sweden, and especially Stockholm, is undergoing a major energy transformation. Within the Major Projects and Programs unit at Ellevio, we work on the large structural changes planned for the Stockholm power grid, with the aim of increasing the renewal of our electrical installations, boosting capacity and reliability. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to influence and drive projects and the development of the power grid. You're responsible for ensuring that during execution we meet requirements for schedule, budget, safety, environment, and quality. You'll take charge of major projects driven in an exciting and complex environment where, in addition to the technical aspects, you represent Ellevio in interactions with customers and contractors. You'll oversee and be responsible for the entire execution of projects from start to finish, including customer connections, developments, and reinvestments. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in developing our project management practices, from improving work methods to proposing new tools or systems. The role involves extensive networking, and you'll work both internally with colleagues and departments at Ellevio and externally with customers, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors. Your team consists of approximately 20 engaged, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Project Managers driving major projects throughout the Greater Stockholm area. The group includes both permanent employees and consultants, and we now want to strengthen our internal expertise. You'll alternate between office work and site visits. What You Need to Succeed in This Role As a Senior Project Manager, you need excellent communication skills and be confident and stable in both your competence and as a person. You have clear drive and a structured methodology for advancing your projects from start to finish. We'd like to see that you're development-oriented and have experience and interest in developing processes and work methods related to project management. You also need good interpersonal skills and thrive working collaboratively with different parties and stakeholders. You're adaptable and have a knack for identifying win-win solutions that move projects forward. We're Looking for Someone With: At least 10 years of project management experience in power, construction, or infrastructure Relevant university degree in engineering or economics, or equivalent work experience Experience and knowledge of contract and contractor law as well as negotiations Fluent Swedish in speech and writing as well as good English skills It's a Plus If You Also Have: Experience managing power projects at the highest voltage levels Previous experience as a coordinating project manager Ellevio as an Employer At Ellevio, you have the opportunity to develop, make an impact, and truly make a difference.
