Job Description
We are seeking a Product Engineer to join a product team working with an AI-assisted development approach where a large portion of the code is generated with the help of AI.
As implementation has become faster, the focus in development work has shifted toward formulating the right requirements, understanding the domain, creating clear context, and providing AI with the right conditions to deliver good solutions. As a Product Engineer, you will play a central role in this work.
You combine technical understanding with product and requirements work, and drive requirements from idea to finished solution. This means asking the right questions, structuring and preparing materials, building relevant AI context, and ensuring that requirements are sufficiently clear to be translated into working solutions.
At the same time, you remain hands-on from a technical perspective and can contribute with implementation, review, and testing of AI-generated code when needed. The balance between requirements-driven work and development varies depending on the task.
This role suits you if you want to work at the intersection of product and technology, and if you find it exciting to develop new ways of working where AI is an integrated part of the development process. You collaborate closely with product, architecture, and development teams, and you have significant responsibility for driving work forward from needs and requirements to delivered functionality.
Work takes place in small, focused teams where the Product Engineer plays a central role in coordinating requirements, creating the right conditions for development, and ensuring that the solution is coherent both functionally and technically.

Qualifications
You have extensive experience with Claude or equivalent AI-based coding tools and a strong ability to translate domain problems and requirements into clear and well-founded prompts that lead to the right technical results.
You have solid technical expertise and can code yourself to review, debug, and if necessary write or adjust code.
You have the ability to work closely with the product side, ask the right questions, structure materials, and drive requirements forward without waiting for complete specifications.
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you have experience with GDPR/data protection and/or information security, as the product operates within this domain area and understanding the regulations strengthens the ability to formulate relevant and well-founded requirements.
