Senior Process Engineer, Technical Products & Feed, Karlshamn
AAK Sweden AB · Full-time
Västra Kajen, Karlshamn, Sweden
Our purpose, Making Better Happen™, describes our commitment to continuous improvement. AAK specializes in plant-based oils as value-adding ingredients in a range of popular consumer products. We make these products tastier, healthier, and more sustainable. With our oils, we can improve the sensory properties of products—for example, by making premium chocolate smoother, plant-based burgers juicier, or low-fat pastry crispier. By replacing ingredients with AAK's plant-based alternatives, our customers can also optimize and streamline their production. With value-adding oils and fats, we help our customers succeed better. Customer-collaborative product development and an understanding of what "better" means for each individual customer are at the heart of our business. With our flexible production facilities and extensive expertise, we deliver our value-adding products to a range of industries, including chocolate and confectionery, bakery, dairy, plant-based foods, specialty nutrition, foodservice, and personal care. Our 3,900 employees work closely with our customers through 25 regional sales offices, 15 innovation centers, and support from over 20 production facilities. AAK, headquartered in Malmö, is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and has strived for continuous improvement for 150 years. Our facility in Karlshamn is a multi-plant. Here all of the company's business areas are represented. Swedish-grown rapeseed is an important raw material, while a wide range of vegetable fats are shipped directly to the Karlshamn factory from growing regions in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The Nordic region is an important home market, while specialty products are exported from Karlshamn worldwide. To thrive in this role, you are analytical, solution-oriented, and structured, with the ability to see both details and the big picture. You can translate analysis into concrete actions, drive issues forward, and create results together with others. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. We place great importance on personal fit.
