Assignment Description We are now looking for a highly senior and driven Requirements Analyst for an exciting assignment within the public sector. You will be part of a cross-functional agile team (with developers, testers, and project managers) that takes overall responsibility for both new development and management of business-critical investigation systems. In this role, you will act as the bridge between IT and the authority's operations. You are responsible for coordinating and driving requirements work throughout the entire development lifecycle, from needs gathering and process mapping to verified and completed solutions. The team's assignment includes, among other things, a major modernization effort to migrate current system solutions to modern web interfaces and streamline investigation processes. Your main responsibilities: Independent requirements work: Plan, lead, and coordinate requirements activities, workshops, and needs analyses with the business. Requirements Formulation & Structure: Convert complex business needs into clear, feasible, and verifiable functional and non-functional requirements and user stories in Jira. Cross-functional Collaboration: Participate in solution discussions with developers and testers and establish and drive collaboration forums between IT and operations. Coaching & Mentorship: Support and coach less experienced colleagues and serve as a mentor within the requirements field. Mandatory Requirements At least 10 years of documented experience working as a requirements analyst (acquired within the last 15 years). At least 6 years of experience independently driving and coordinating requirements work from needs gathering to completed solution. Documented experience leading and coordinating requirements activities in complex development assignments. Documented experience with requirements work in agile development environments. Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Meritorious Requirements Experience with IT-related work at a major state authority. Experience with UX and user-centered development. Experience working with Jira and Confluence in development and requirements work. Experience coaching or mentoring less experienced employees within requirements. About the Assignment & Practical Information Period: 2026-12-26 – 2027-12-26 (or as soon as possible after approved security clearance). Option: Possibility of extension until 2029-12-26.
