Senior Function Developer in Vehicle Electronics

Develop and secure body functions for the future of vehicles in an international development environment with responsibility from concept and requirements to verification and validation. Would you like to develop functions that impact vehicle comfort, body, and electrical systems? In this senior role, you'll work through the entire development chain – from concept and requirement definition to integration, testing, and validation. You'll be a key technical link between development teams and suppliers in an international vehicle environment. About the Role Responsible for function development within body control and related vehicle functions. Ensure that functional deliverables comply with specifications, processes, and standards. Work with development for European market and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do Develop and maintain function concepts, requirements, and specifications. Serve as the technical interface for requirement reconciliation, release coordination, and supplier dialogue. Follow up on software and system discrepancies in issue tracking systems. Support function integration and plan and conduct testing, verification, and validation. Drive technical discussions and ensure implementation according to agreed requirements. We're Looking for Someone With A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent from a college or university. At least seven years of experience with electrical vehicle systems, electrical architecture, or software development. Good understanding of processes and working methods in vehicle-related function development. Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and established working practices in the automotive industry. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
