About the Role
As a senior FPGA developer, you will work as a consultant on assignments with some of Sweden's most technology-intensive operations. The projects are characterized by high complexity, long lifecycles, and high demands on quality, performance, and reliability.
You will work on developing FPGA-based solutions in close collaboration with systems engineers, software developers, and electronics engineers. The role involves both technical depth and the opportunity to influence the architecture and design of solutions.
Example Work Tasks:
Design and development of FPGA-based systems
Simulation, testing, and verification of functionality
Optimization of solutions with focus on performance, robustness, and long-term sustainability
Troubleshooting and analysis of complex technical problems
Participation in technical reviews and development work
Close collaboration with cross-functional development teams
About You
We are looking for you who are an experienced FPGA developer with a genuine interest in technology and who thrives in environments where advanced technology and problem-solving are in focus.
We would like to see that you have:
A degree in electronics, engineering physics, computer science, or equivalent
Several years of experience in FPGA or ASIC development
Very good knowledge of VHDL
Experience with FPGA platforms from AMD/Xilinx and/or Intel/Altera
Experience with simulation, verification, and hardware-level development
Experience from technically advanced areas such as telecommunications, radar, RF, defense, or similar
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Meritorious experience includes:
Signal processing or radar systems
Embedded systems
Python or Java
Configuration Management and modern development tools
