Requirements:
- University degree in IT / data engineering or related field
- minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in data engineering and development of production AI/data platforms
- advanced knowledge of Azure Fabric or Databricks, Python, SQL, PySpark
- experience with CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps), ETL/ELT, MLOps, MLflow and data platform management
- knowledge in data governance, GDPR, EU AI Act, NIS2
- advantageous: experience with industrial automation, PLC, MES, IoT and edge computing
- English language at advanced level
- willingness to travel approximately 50 days per year within the EU
Job responsibilities:
- design, development and management of secure data platforms and pipelines for AI solutions in Azure environment
- integration of data from PLC/MES/IoT and enterprise systems
- creation of ETL/ELT processes, governance, data quality, observability and MLOps support
- collaboration with Data Science, manufacturing, technology teams and AI Governance Board
- support of the company's industrial AI strategy
