About the Role Perido is seeking an experienced and business-oriented Senior Business Controller for our client, a global market-leading corporation in the automotive industry. You will become part of the IT organization where you work as an active partner to management and operations. The assignment involves responsibility for supporting and managing financial matters for CDO stakeholders at Senior Vice President level across several of the corporation's companies, with primary focus on the delivery dimension and IT services. The organization is undergoing an ongoing reorganization, which means responsibilities and working methods are continuously evolving. The position is based in Göteborg. Your Responsibilities As a Business Controller, you will, among other things: Be a strategic and operational business partner to management and operations, and coach and challenge the organization to improve financial performance and create business value. Drive, analyze, and monitor financial and operational performance (financial results, forecasts, and key metrics) and identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Work with forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, working capital management, investments, and risk management. Develop, prepare, and present financial reports, analyses, and recommendations to management and the board, and participate in financial review meetings with relevant stakeholders. Drive major projects and end-to-end processes and develop, implement, and maintain principles and guidelines for financial governance. Collaborate closely with other controllers across the corporation and share expertise and best practices with the team. Your Qualities We are seeking someone who is senior, confident in your controller role, and has a strong business focus. You are self-driven, take responsibility, and are agile with a strong ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and unclear frameworks. To succeed in this role, you need to be analytical, structured, and have excellent communication skills so you can confidently present to and challenge senior decision-makers. Qualifications: Academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, or another relevant field At least approximately 8 years of relevant experience in Business Controlling, Financial Controlling, or Finance Documented experience working closely with senior management and operations (e.g., at SVP level) Strong experience in financial analysis, forecasting, performance management, and financial monitoring Experience independently driving complex projects and processes and managing transformation journeys Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written Meritorious: Experience from international corporations/manufacturing industry or experience in financial management within IT delivery/IT organizations Scope and Start Date Full-time, consulting assignment through 2026-12-18.
