RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare accounting entries for assigned payroll general ledger items in accordance with US GAAP, including wages, bonuses, commissions, vacation, and various benefits Collaborate with various internal teams and external vendors in identifying new earnings, deductions, or taxes Account for assigned cash items related to compensation and benefits Support the monthly accounting close process including timely task completion and issue resolution Perform monthly account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts Analyze balance fluctuations on specific accounts and provide explanations for changes Collaborate with international accounting service providers to understand local accounting requirements Reconcile statutory financial statements of international subsidiaries with US GAAP statements Identify and drive process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency Support and develop existing SOX controls Assist accounting staff with account reconciliations, accounting entries, and reporting as needed Assist with annual audit requirements and acquisition integration Assist the General Ledger Manager with special projects and other tasks as assigned SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of accounting experience Minimum 3 years of payroll accounting experience Advanced knowledge of US GAAP High attention to detail and accuracy Experience working with multiple foreign currencies Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-growing, and changing environment Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel English language proficiency at minimum B2 level EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS Three-year higher education degree / Bachelor's degree in Accounting Additional vacation, cafeteria contribution, sick days, pension plan contribution Employer consent to Blue Card.
