About the Operation Would you like to work in Ambulance Services Dalarna? We are now recruiting nurses/ambulance nurses for summer 2027 with placement in one of the following locations: Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Leksand, Ludvika, Vansbro, Malung, Sälen, Mora, Älvdalen, and Särna. Ambulance Services Dalarna is a regional clinic with 11 ambulance stations from Särna in the north to Avesta in the south. Our requirements, which you can see below, are set both because they are necessary to handle the work itself, but also to prevent workplace injuries. Tests for summer temporary positions are arranged in Falun week 47, to which you will be called. The tests consist of a physical test, medical knowledge exam, driving test, and interview. Following a passed test, selection occurs for the introductory training that starts April 2027. Preferences regarding placement location will be discussed during the interview. Job Responsibilities As a nurse in Ambulance Services, you work with prehospital acute care where you meet patients of all ages who have suffered acute illness or injury. You assess and treat patients in their homes, at accident scenes, and during transport to care facilities. The focus is on good care and compassion in patient encounters. You work both independently and in a team where cooperation and knowledge sharing contribute to the best possible care of the sick and injured. You work according to current treatment guidelines for Ambulance Services Dalarna. Qualifications We place great importance on your personal qualities such as teamwork ability, positive attitude, and commitment. You need to be confident in your professional role, have a genuine interest in people, and always keep the patient in focus. You can work independently and handle stressful situations, but also enjoy working in a team and contributing your knowledge to a good work environment. Requirements: Licensed nurse Driver's license category B for at least 2 years. However, driver's license category C1 (or driver's license obtained before 1/7 1996) is required to operate ambulances. Upon employment, the employer covers part of the costs for C1 license. Swimming proficiency 200 m, certificate required. Completed tests with passing results. Meritorious: Specialist nursing degree with a focus on ambulance care Previous experience working in ambulance services Prio1 certification PS/PHTLS/AMLS training Driver's license with authorization to drive a passenger car with a total weight exceeding 3.5 tons ApplicationThis position involves direct and regular contact with children and/or youth.
