Discover a versatile assignment! About the job As a manager and leader at the Swedish Tax Agency, you ensure the bigger picture, create conditions, and act consciously in daily operations. In your leadership, you enable development and learning by providing mandate and creating significant scope for action; you strengthen and follow up on the behaviors and culture needed for us to carry out our mission together. The HR department comprises approximately 150 employees distributed across four units: the Employer Unit, the Competency Supply Unit, the Learning Unit, and the Staff Unit. You are the manager of one of the sections within the Employer Unit of the HR department. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 18 employees, participate in the unit's management group, and report to the unit manager. On the section, we provide close HR support to the Swedish Tax Agency's departments, both on strategic and operational matters. The section consists of two department teams with broad expertise in the HR field. As section manager within the Employer Unit, your assignment is to create conditions for the teams, ensure relevant delivery based on operational needs, and actively contribute to all of the unit's areas of responsibility. Your work location is Sundbyberg or Göteborg. Our operations are in constant development and change. About you To do a good job and thrive at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be receptive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. In your work, sound judgment and understanding of legal certainty and security are important. You should also live up to our employee policy. In this job, you should: - have the ability to see the bigger picture with a focus on customer value - have the ability to create the right conditions based on your understanding of operations and mission - have the ability to act consciously in daily operations based on good self-awareness - be able to manage and analyze information flows, see connections, delimit and convey information - have the ability to communicate clearly and create a climate where we listen to each other. You should also have: - higher education of 180 credits (120 points) within social sciences, behavioral sciences, law, or experience that the employer deems equivalent - current practical experience in change management - current experience as a manager within the HR field - management experience from a large and complex organization. It is desirable that you have experience from a government agency and from partnering with the customer to drive major shifts in operations and culture. It is also desirable that you have experience developing independent teams. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a probationary period of six months. Within the Swedish Tax Agency, we apply management commissions for up to five years, with the possibility of extension in periods of no more than three years, without limitation on the number of extensions. Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security clearance with record check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision.
