JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We at Sävstaskolan are now looking for a student assistant! As a student assistant, you have a strong interest in understanding your fellow humans and want to contribute to students' conditions for success in school. Your work will be characterized by clear pedagogy, alternative communication strategies, and low-affect interactions. You will be an important part of creating the best conditions for students' learning in school. As a student assistant, you will work to help and support students in their schoolwork, both academically and in social interactions with classmates and teachers. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience working with children/youth; it is an advantage if you have worked with students with NPF (neuropsychiatric disabilities). We would like you to have a foundation of training as a student assistant. You need to enjoy working with students in need of special support and be driven by developing students' abilities in a solution-focused way. You have good collaboration skills and are secure in yourself. You are engaged in your work and you work with young people's best interests in focus. As a person, you are not afraid to take initiative while being responsive and responsible toward those you meet in your work. To thrive with us, you need to be helpful and see the possibilities in your work. You enjoy working with children/youth and find it easy to make contact with them, our teachers, and parents.
