Job Description
You are responsible for coordinating and driving the development of precision medicine within Region Östergötland and coordinating work within GMC, the region's node in Genomic Medicine Sweden. The role includes: collaborating with decision-makers, operations, and Linköping University to identify needs and drive development; coordinating initiatives and developing goals and action plans; representing the area in local, regional, and national forums; contributing as project manager in establishing an ATMP center and future precision medicine center. As GMC coordinator, you bring together local working groups and participate in national forums.
Work Group
The position is placed within the development functional area at the regional management office and is governed by a precision medicine council. You work closely with medical advisors and in collaboration with the Precision Medicine Laboratory and Clinical Genomics Linköping.
About You
You have relevant academic education; experience in precision medicine, genomics, or related areas is a merit. You have good understanding of healthcare organization and experience in coordination or project management in complex contexts.
You are accustomed to working in multidisciplinary environments and driving work forward toward set goals. Experience with national collaborations, GMC, or collaboration between region and university is a merit. As a person, you are structured, communicative, and relationship-building. You have a good ability to translate strategic goals into concrete action and to create consensus among different actors.
Application and Employment
The position is in project form for two years, full-time. The role encompasses two overlapping assignments in precision medicine and GMC.
Before employment in patient-centered work within Region Östergötland, you will be required to complete a health declaration.
