About Us
HVB Villa Nora is a residential care home for girls ages 10-14 who are in unsuitable environments, have committed isolated crimes, experimented with drugs, and exhibit externalizing behaviors.
The residence is located approximately 5 km outside Uppsala. Situated in a rural setting with proximity to nature.
We work based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods with a focus on CBT. With the help of clarifying pedagogy, we can create structure and safety, which helps clients understand their daily life and take responsibility for their development.
About the Position
As coordinator/assistant operations manager, you will work alongside the operations manager with operational responsibility for the unit. You are expected to independently lead, organize, and develop operations in accordance with applicable legislation, guidelines, objectives, policy documents, and in accordance with the client's assignment. You will serve as a supervisor for your colleagues and also work with certain tasks that are part of the role of therapeutic pedagogue.
The work will also include being an important part of daily contact with the young people by, among other things, being present in everyday situations and providing supportive conversations.
As coordinator/assistant operations manager at HVB Villa Nora, you will primarily work on the following in consultation with the operations manager:
- Primary responsibility for clients
- Coordinate work tasks, review, and develop the quality of operations
- Resource planning
- Establish and revise implementation plans
- Documentation
- Coach and guide staff
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook and enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. To thrive and succeed in this role, we prefer that you are good at building relationships and have strong collaborative skills.
The position requires education as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or at least a two-year post-secondary education, such as therapeutic pedagogue or social pedagogue. Work experience and other competencies that the employer deems equivalent may also be relevant.
It is also advantageous if you:
- have experience working in treatment for children and young people
- have experience with CBT
- have experience with documentation work and medication management
- have experience in a supervisory role
Working Hours and Degree of Employment: 100%. Working hours are Monday-Friday, daytime and evening shifts.
Salary: To be agreed upon, with other compensation in accordance with collective agreement.
Other:
- B driving license is required
- You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills are required
- Before employment, we request an extract from the Police Authority's record of convictions and suspicions.
