The Social Services Administration in Stockholm's City has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the disability services area. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, lawful, equal, and knowledge-based social service with a strong development focus. Within the administration, we offer a wide range of support services to the city's residents, and the offering changes based on Stockholm residents' needs and the district administrations' wishes. Work often takes place in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business sector. The Social Services Administration is also responsible for the city's catering and tobacco licenses and performs supervision. Now we're looking for a coordinator for our central placement function at the social services administration! As a coordinator, you'll have a central role in developing and coordinating operations, where you work with others to ensure high quality and long-term solutions. Welcome to us Within the social services administration, there is the Competence Area for Disability Services and Social Psychiatry, which consists of four units. Now we're looking for employees for the Assessment and Placement unit, the LSS External Placements work group. The Placement Function is a new function that supports large parts of Stockholm's City social services. On behalf of the district administrations, we work to ensure equal placements and agreements in accordance with the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). Your role As a coordinator in the Placement Function, you have an important role in supporting Stockholm's City social services in ensuring equal placements and agreements in accordance with the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). You function as a support to the unit manager and the team, where you contribute to developing and optimizing the operation's working methods and processes to ensure high quality in service delivery. Your main responsibilities include: - Acting as a support function for the unit manager and employees in daily work with process development - Handling agreement and placement requests - Collaborating with colleagues responsible for placements of children and young people within individual and family care - Maintaining and developing dialogue with managers and colleagues in the affected district administrations and handling contacts with external providers Your competence and experience We're looking for you who have: - A degree as a social worker or another university degree that the employer deems equivalent - Experience leading teams and projects in a politically governed organization - Experience making placements within the disability services area - Current experience in a strategic and coordinating role within government operations - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing We consider it a merit if you have: - Experience with provider agreement follow-up within LSS - Good knowledge of municipal operations, preferably within Stockholm's City organization - Experience in a leading role in operations within the disability services area - Experience in government operations for children and young people In the recruitment, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
