About Us Kårsta LSS is a group home according to LSS §9:9 for four adults in personal category 1. Our target group has intellectual disabilities and autism combined with neuropsychiatric diagnoses such as ADHD, mental illnesses, and complex and extensive behavioral challenges. The assignment involves a very high and continuous level of care and support where safety, structure, and professional resilience are central parts of the work. The target group needs clearly designed support to create security, predictability, and stability in daily life. The residence is expected to be completed at the end of November 2026 and is located in the quiet and nature-rich area of Kårsta, just north of Örebro. Krokusgatan LSS is a group home according to LSS §9:9 for six adults in personal category 1 located in the residential area of Mellringe. About the Position We are seeking a driven and committed coordinator for our two group homes Kårsta and Krokusgatan. You will combine your specialist knowledge in LSS care with structure and administrative precision. As a coordinator, you are the hub of the operation and lead the daily work in the facility. You work closely with the staff team, under the supervision of the operations manager who has ultimate responsibility. You also perform client-centered work and interventions together with the residential support workers. Your Main Areas of Responsibility Coach: Responsibility for coaching the staff team in the consistent and individualized approach required for the target group. Safety: Ensure that the residence can guarantee safety for both staff and residents by leading daily work with risk assessments and routines. Predictability: Ability to guarantee continuity in staffing. Structure and Predictability: Drive work to maintain the clear structure and predictability needed in daily life. Coordinate: Maintain contacts with external actors such as social services, psychiatry, and healthcare. Administration: Responsibility for ongoing administrative work, such as schedule planning, documentation, and ensuring that routines are followed in accordance with applicable legislation. Quality: Work with incident management, risk analyses, and follow-ups. Follow-up and Documentation: Ensure correct and complete documentation and follow up on interventions and goals. Recruitment & Introduction: Support the operations manager with recruitment and introduction of new staff. Who Are You? As a person, you are relationship-building, action-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You have an eye for what needs to be done, are organized, and have the ability to engage and encourage your colleagues. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and professional resilience. We are seeking someone who has: Experience and specialist expertise in LSS and/or HVB with a focus on neuropsychiatric disabilities and complex behavioral and social challenges. Relevant post-secondary education such as support, residential, or treatment pedagogue, social worker, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Documentation skills and knowledge of Individualized Needs in Focus (IBIC). Experience with low-arousal approaches and clarifying pedagogy. Ability to work in a high-intensity environment and ability to build increased trust with residents. Experience with administrative work, documentation, and scheduling. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. B-class driver's license. Employment Terms Type of Employment: Permanent position with a six-month probationary period. Scope: 100% full-time distributed 25% at Krokusgatan and 75% at Kårsta. Working Hours: Daytime, Monday to Friday 7:00-16:00. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation is provided according to collective agreement. Start Date: By agreement. Who Are You?
