About the Position AcadeMedia's upper secondary schools are seeking a coordinating officer for public access and confidentiality who wants to contribute to legally sound and efficient management of public documents. This is a new role established because the principle of public access will be applied to private school operators in the education system as of January 1, 2027. You will serve as an operations-focused support function to our upper secondary schools and staff departments. You will receive and coordinate requests for document disclosure, provide support on public access, confidentiality, filing and document management matters, and help develop procedures and working methods. Examples of Main Responsibilities File and register received, created and dispatched documents. Receive, handle and coordinate requests for disclosure of public documents. Support school administrators, principals, managers and staff in locating and compiling requested documents. Coordinate documentation when a request spans multiple schools, departments or information systems and follow up to ensure timely case handling. Provide support in confidentiality assessments under the Public Access and Confidentiality Act, based on the organization's responsibility allocation. Redact confidential information and prepare materials for decisions to fully or partially deny disclosure, in accordance with current delegation and responsibility allocation. About You We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education in, for example, public administration, administration, law, archive and information science or other education that we consider equivalent. You have experience with qualified administrative work or case handling and strong knowledge of the public access principle, the Public Access and Confidentiality Act and public sector operations.
