As a Sales Associate at Coop Österbymo, you'll be responsible for performing all common store tasks and ensuring the best possible customer service. You're an important face of our store and work according to Coop's guidelines, procedures, and values. You're a key person in customer interactions and in creating a pleasant and inspiring store environment.
We're looking for someone who is service-oriented, positive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where you meet many people every day. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and actively contribute to an inclusive work environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you have good physical fitness as the work can involve heavy lifting, and that you have a strong desire to learn and develop in your role.
Main Responsibilities
Restocking and facing merchandise
Building attractive product displays
Cashier work
Handling complaints and claims according to procedures
Quality control, cleaning, and organization in the store, warehouse, and staff areas
Maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment
Following inventory and shrinkage procedures
Contributing to continuous improvements and a good work environment
Depending on store needs, you may also work with:
Merchandise ordering
Returns, receiving inspections, and delivery notes
CAO handling
Price labeling and campaign signage
Price changes
Opening and closing the store according to current procedures.

This is a part-time position at 5 h/week with start date September 28 or by agreement. Work hours vary and include daytime, evenings, and weekends. We use trial employment. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
Requirements
Good Swedish in speech and writing is required
18 years old as you must be able to work independently at the register
Meritorious:
Experience and skills from retail and/or other service professions are meritorious
Secondary school education
Multilingualism
Basic knowledge of store economics or food handling
