Are you a technician who enjoys solving problems and working hands-on with security systems? We are now looking for a security technician at Elajo in Kalmar. Here you'll experience varied daily work with both installation and service at customer sites.
About the Role
As a security technician, you will work with installation, service, and troubleshooting of various security systems, such as access control systems, burglar alarms, fire alarms, and camera surveillance. The work involves independently planning and performing your assignments, often at customer locations, where you are responsible for ensuring installations function correctly and systems are commissioned safely and efficiently. You will also work with troubleshooting items such as card readers, locks, and control panels, as well as programming and configuring various security systems. The work may involve running cables, installing equipment, testing functions, and replacing components on-site when needed.
Your Profile
To succeed in the role of security technician, we see that you have a genuine technical interest and thrive in a practical role where you work with installation, troubleshooting, and programming of security systems. You have several years of experience in security, electrical, or technical work and feel confident working with both hardware and software, for example within access control systems or burglar alarms. We would prefer if you have previously worked with systems such as RCO, Vanderbilt, or ASSA ARX, or similar security systems.
You are accustomed to working independently and taking responsibility for your assignments, from planning through execution and documentation. At the same time, you are a team player who appreciates collaborating with colleagues and sharing knowledge when needed. Since the work involves significant customer contact, it is important that you are service-oriented, have a professional demeanor, and feel comfortable representing the company at customer sites.
Required Qualifications:
• Education in electrical, technical, telecommunications, or equivalent field
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of RCO, Vanderbilt, ASSA ARX, or equivalent systems
• Swedish in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license

• Experience as a security technician
