Given the changed geopolitical security landscape, security and preparedness work is an important part of the hospital's development and resilience in daily operations, crisis situations, and heightened readiness. As Security Strategist, you will work to develop the organization's strategic security efforts across multiple areas of the security field, such as physical security in building projects, etc. An important part of the assignment is to develop, implement, and monitor processes, governing documents, and procedures. Your responsibilities also include threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments. You will be a qualified support to managers and leadership on security-related matters in both daily operations and crisis situations. The role requires you to be able to analyze needs, identify connections, and translate strategies into practically feasible working methods. With a pedagogical approach, you will contribute to creating understanding, engagement, and commitment to security matters in the organization. We are looking for you who - are analytical and have the ability to identify risks, see connections, and translate complex information into well-founded assessments and practical solutions - work in a structured manner and plan, organize, and drive your work forward methodically and with quality assurance - are self-directed, take responsibility for your tasks, and advance development and security matters with good judgment - have strong collaboration skills and build trusting relationships through a responsive, unpretentious, and solution-oriented working style - communicate clearly and pedagogically and can adapt your message to different audiences and create understanding for security matters - have high integrity and a professional approach. Qualifications Requirements: - relevant academic degree or other post-secondary education that the employer deems equivalent - several years of experience in strategic security work in a similar role - good knowledge of security-related legislation - experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring processes, governing documents, and working methods - excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. Desirable: - experience with assessments of physical protection for premises and setting requirements for security measures in projects, procurements, or similar - experience leading projects and/or coordinating working groups - experience collaborating with authorities and other external stakeholders - experience in internal security work within public sector operations - experience in both strategic and operational security work - high digital maturity and understanding of technological development within the security field.
