About the position Swedish Grid plays a crucial role in Sweden's energy transition, and security protection is an important part of enabling safe and stable electricity supply. We are now seeking engaged and responsible individuals who want to work with supplier security and ensure that our security-sensitive operations are protected when exposed to external parties. In this role, you will have a key position where you not only work operatively with security protection, but also contribute to strategic development within the field. The area is undergoing significant change, including new legislation, which means you will be instrumental in shaping the work going forward. In this role, you will have a broad and varied area of responsibility where you work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in security and other parts of the organization. You will: Conduct security clearance interviews and startup meetings Contract management (security protection agreements, cooperation and collaboration agreements) Administration including handling of register checks, agreements, etc. Extensive contact with operations and suppliers (many contact points both internally and externally) Monitoring and follow-up of the agency's security protection agreements and suppliers Train and guide operations on security protection Contribute to further development of operations, processes and system support When needed, support operations with special security protection assessments Supplier security is a crucial part of Swedish Grid's work in enabling a fossil-free future. You will get: Many contact points internally at the agency, with our suppliers and externally with other authorities Opportunity to develop further within the security field both within the unit and through close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues with various specialist competencies and backgrounds Deepen competence within the framework of security clearance interviews, special security protection assessments The Supplier Security Unit is part of the Security and Preparedness Department and currently consists of two teams with a total of 10 employees and a unit manager. The group is a mix of permanent employees and consultants with different backgrounds and competencies, creating a dynamic and developing work environment. You communicate clearly and with confidence, which enables you to guide and train others in security protection. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Further, you have: Post-secondary education from a university/college/vocational school in, for example, security, political science, human resource science or equivalent work experience that the employer deems relevant 2 years of experience with case management Experience working with extensive external contacts, both orally and in writing Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working in various case management systems 2 years of experience conducting security clearance interviews or other types of structured conversations/interviews Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written It is a merit if you have knowledge and experience of: Security protection agreements, including work with control and follow-up Experience working with security protection Experience working in government agencies Language skills beyond Swedish and English Experience working with operational development Experience leading projects Experience leading employees without personnel responsibility Good to know The position is located in Sundbyberg Opportunity for remote work with a maximum of 2 days #LI-hybrid Occasional travel may occur in this position Application deadline, 2025-09-24, we use selection questions instead of a personal letter.
