The Swedish Prison and Probation Service (SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people and adults with substance abuse issues. SiS also operates closed youth care facilities.
SiS Youth Home Eknäs accepts school-age boys ages 12-16 with psychosocial problems, involvement in crime, and substance abuse. Job Description
As a security coordinator, you will play an important role in the institution's systematic security work. You will work operationally on security-related matters such as risk and security assessments. Your responsibilities include coordinating the planning, implementation, and follow-up of security work at the institution. You are responsible for coordinating the implementation and development of local procedures, guidelines, and action plans within the security field. Other important and prioritized tasks include managing security assessments and the institution's incident reporting (ISAP). You will also coordinate drug prevention and information security work at the institution. As a security coordinator, you will participate in introductions, training, and exercises within the security field.
You coordinate the conflict management team and serve as a substitute for other conflict management team members when absent regarding conflict management training. You work closely with the central security department and with other security coordinators in the agency.
Qualifications
Education in the security field, or other education that the employer deems equivalent
Experience in security work
Experience working in an environment with incidents and serious events
Experience in training, education, and risk and security assessments
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing (Swedish)
Class B driver's license

You will receive support and work closely with the security department at our headquarters in Stockholm and with other security coordinators in the agency.

Employment:
This is a permanent full-time position beginning with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
Work hours are daytime, Monday through Friday.
