Would you like to work in a modern and varied radiology operation with good teamwork and broad expertise? Then Radiology Torsby might be the right place for you!
Your Workplace
Radiology Torsby is part of Imaging and Functional Diagnostics in Värmland. We work across the region on several tasks such as bookings and reviews. The radiology department operates 24/7 and performs approximately 26,000 examinations per year.
Our radiology department has about 20 colleagues distributed across several staff categories. We work closely together and have a family-like work environment. We perform conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We rotate between the different modalities, which makes the work exciting and varied. We have 24/7 operations and work according to a rotation schedule.
What We Offer
We want to invest in your future! As a new radiologic technologist with us, you may, under certain conditions, receive compensation for your student loans during your first years in the profession. Read more about the benefits we offer you.
Your Responsibilities
At the radiology department we have a CT scanner, MRI machine, ultrasound, and conventional radiography equipment. We perform most examinations on our equipment and are working toward having all staff rotate across all modalities and be able to handle a typical daily schedule. We use RIS & PACS and Cambio Cosmic electronic health record systems. We work three shifts at the department, which means we rotate between day, evening, and weekend shifts as well as nights.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you who are a licensed radiologic technologist. You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience in radiology work is a merit.
You are confident, stable, have self-awareness, and conduct yourself in a manner adapted to the situation. You adapt easily to changed circumstances, can quickly change your perspective and approach, and you see the opportunities in change. You work well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and flexible way.
