Our Operations At the Imaging and Functional Medicine Center, Akademiska Hospital, we work with advanced MRI, computed tomography, ultrasound, and conventional radiological diagnostics as well as advanced interventional diagnostics and treatment. Operations are conducted both acutely and as planned, and we have staff around the clock. The Imaging and Functional Medicine Center performs approximately 200,000 examinations and treatments annually with a wide range of modalities such as intervention, MR, CT, conventional X-ray, ultrasound, SPECT, and PET. Operations also exist in Tierp (Conventional and CT) and in Östhammar where we conduct conventional X-ray. Your Assignment We are now looking for you who want to work with us in the pleasant Östhammar location, with the opportunity to rotate to Uppsala/Tierp. You will be part of a welcoming team where your future colleagues have worked for many years. Together you will have close collaboration with each other and also with our unit in Tierp. We work with conventional X-ray in a pleasant environment at the X-ray clinic in Östhammar, as well as with our other modalities in Uppsala, by agreement if desired. The work requires independence and is varied, as the assignment includes examinations as well as booking, phone calls, and referral management. We perform scheduled and emergency examinations. No two days are the same with us! Work is scheduled daytime, Monday–Friday. Good bus connections exist between Östhammar and Uppsala. Your Qualifications You are a licensed radiologic technologist with several years of experience in conventional X-ray. You have good technical knowledge (good computer skills). As a person, you are thorough, structured, communicative, and service-oriented. You enjoy working in a varied environment. Good patient interaction is of the utmost importance.
