Do you want to be part of one of Norrbotten's most unique and proud traditions? During a few intensive autumn weeks, you'll work with one of Sweden's most exclusive delicacies, Kalix Löjrom. We are now recruiting several careful and committed employees for this year's season. This is a job for you who appreciate craftsmanship, quality, and teamwork. You'll be an important part of production where every step contributes to creating a product that is known far beyond Sweden's borders. About the role As a Roe Sorter, you work with cleaning, rinsing, and sorting roe from vendace. The work is carried out according to high quality and hygiene standards where precision and accuracy are crucial for the final result. You work together with an experienced team who will teach you the work tasks and ensure you receive a good introduction. The work is largely manual and requires patience, concentration, and an eye for detail. At the same time, it's social work where collaboration and team spirit are important parts of everyday life. No previous experience in roe cleaning is required. What matters most is that you have the right attitude and a willingness to learn. There is potential for this position to transition into a permanent employment with our customer. About you We are looking for you who: • Are careful and quality-conscious • Have good dexterity and concentration ability • Enjoy repetitive work tasks where precision is important • Can work at a high pace when production demands it • Are responsible and reliable • Like to collaborate and contribute to a positive work environment • Can work in cooler production environments Previous experience from food production, industry, or fish processing is a merit but not required. Why you'll enjoy this! This is much more than a typical seasonal job. You'll be part of a committed team where everyone works toward the same goal during an intense and exciting period. For many, the season becomes a recurring feature year after year thanks to the special community that forms when everyone works together to deliver the highest possible quality. Practical information Work is normally performed five days a week, from Sunday afternoon or Monday morning to Thursday or Friday depending on production needs. Planned working time is 8 hours per day, but overtime may occur if needed. Since the work is directly tied to fishing, the volume can vary depending on catch amounts. With smaller catches, the number of working hours may decrease or certain shifts may be cancelled. Schedule will be communicated closer to the season start.
