About Us Bookforge Steel has a history spanning more than 350 years, dating back to when the company was founded with genuine hammer forging in Karlskoga in 1646. The forging operation was subsequently run for many years within Alfred Nobel's company Bofors. Over the years, Booforge Steel AB has built up unique material expertise and quality awareness. Today, the company is a leading player in fork lifts and open-die forging and manufacturing is done based on each customer's specific needs and requirements. We are currently looking for a straightening operator. Read more about the role below. About the Job as Straightening Operator At the straightening station, you will work to ensure that the fork lifts maintain the correct dimensions and shape after the forging process. You check that the forks are correctly straightened and aligned with each other. The work is done in a team of two people, where cooperation and accuracy are essential for achieving high quality in the final product. There are good opportunities for development in the role, with a chance to broaden your skills in other areas over time, such as forging work and working as a forging operator. On weeks when you work the evening shift, you have Fridays off. Qualifications: Requirements B-class driver's license Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Meritorious Previous industrial/workshop experience Personal Qualities Cooperation skills Quality-conscious and organized – safety is paramount Patient and don't mind performing the same tasks over a longer period Other Information: In this role, you will work in production in Karlskoga.
