Ref: 20261935 Do you want to make a difference in people's daily lives? We are now seeking three dedicated care assistants for day shifts in the resource area Södra Bulltofta. Södra Bulltofta is part of the Bulltofta unit within regular housing. As a care assistant in the resource group, you work flexibly across the entire resource area and support the various home care teams based on operational needs. You will therefore meet service users with varying needs and collaborate closely with colleagues in home care, home healthcare, and rehabilitation. Welcome with your application! Duties As a care assistant in the resource group, you work in different home care teams within the resource area based on operational needs. This means you meet different service users, colleagues, and work situations and need to be able to adapt to where the need is. You help and support the service user with care interventions based on individual needs and wishes. You support the service user with personal care, medical interventions performed under delegation from a licensed nurse, meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, and laundry. Beyond the practical work, you document events concerning the service user and maintain contact with the service user's family. The work includes providing advice and information as well as motivating and encouraging the service user to do as much as possible independently. In daily work, you also collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation, social workers, and other home care teams. The positions are three day shifts with work every other weekend. Qualifications We are seeking someone who has: Care assistant education with approved grades Evidence of protected professional title as care assistant from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare, or certificate from employer showing that you had a permanent position as care assistant on July 1, 2023 Ability to cycle Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written Experience using computer and mobile phone as tools and aids, and willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems. We consider it meritorious if you have: Experience working with people with permanent disabilities Experience with dementia and/or psychiatry Knowledge of LifeCare and Flexite Driver's license As a person, we are seeking someone who is flexible and comfortable meeting changes and new situations.
