Ref: 20262027 Are you a nursing assistant who enjoys varied work where no two days are the same? We are now looking for a committed nursing assistant for our resource team at Erikslust. As part of the resource team, you will have the opportunity to work in different sections and contribute your expertise where it is needed most. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, according to a fixed schedule with weekend duty every other weekend. Does this sound like something for you? We warmly welcome your application! Job Duties As a nursing assistant, you help and support the user with care services based on individual needs and preferences. You will assist the user with personal care, medical interventions performed under delegation by a licensed nurse, meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, and laundry. Beyond the practical work, you will also be able to document events regarding the user and maintain contact with the user's family members. The work includes providing advice and information as well as motivating and encouraging the user so they can manage to do as much as possible on their own. In daily work, you also collaborate with home care nursing, rehabilitation, social workers, and other home care teams. Qualifications Requirements for the position: Nursing assistant education with passed grades Proof of protected professional title as nursing assistant from Socialstyrelsen, or certification from employer showing that you had a permanent employment as nursing assistant on July 1, 2023 Experience using the computer as a tool and aid, and willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems Good Swedish in speech and writing Can ride a bicycle Meritorious for the position: Experience working with people with permanent functional impairments Experience working with people with diabetes Experience with dementia and/or psychiatry Knowledge of LifeCare, Flexite, and Senior Alert As a person, we are looking for someone who is flexible and comfortable meeting changes and new situations.
