About the role As a waste product manager, you play an important role in Scania's sustainability efforts by ensuring safe and efficient handling of waste materials, process fluids and hazardous waste. The role involves many contact points both internally within Scania and Traton as well as externally with suppliers and partners, which requires good collaboration skills, clear communication and professional conduct. The work environment is varied and sometimes demanding with elements of noise, work in awkward positions and both heavy and light lifting up to 30 kg. The role includes many practical and physical tasks where standing and walking work makes up a large part of the workday. The work is largely carried out independently with clear responsibility for planning, execution and follow-up of work tasks. Your main responsibilities As a waste product manager, you will among other things work with: Reception, classification and co-transportation of hazardous waste from building 218 Registration of transport documents and ensuring correct documentation Sorting of metal scrap into different fractions to maximize recycling value Cleaning of process fluids such as emulsions and wash water Forklift operation (counterbalance forklift) in handling of goods Operation and monitoring of ultrafilters and evaporators Who are you? Speak and write fluent Swedish and English Have good computer skills and are comfortable with Microsoft Office Are thorough, responsible and service-oriented Have experience in forklift operation, especially counterbalance forklift Have good physical ability and enjoy practical and mobile work Enjoy collaboration and find it easy to communicate with many different contacts Find it easy to learn digital systems (experience with Scania systems is a merit) Who are we? You will become part of a team of six employees responsible for handling waste materials, hazardous waste and environmental and process fluid controls. The group is a support function within Scania and works both to support operations and develop processes within the group.
