Would you like to lead operations at one of Stockholm's most unique meeting places? Karamellan Café & Restaurang at Drottningholm is now seeking a driven and responsible Restaurant Chef. We offer a varied leadership role in a historic setting with focus on both daily café-restaurant operations, event venue, and unique events. This is a permanent position starting immediately. Working hours are mostly during daytime (we're open daily 10.00–17.00), with evening work for pre-booked dinners, weddings, and Christmas celebrations. As restaurant chef, you will be the owners' right hand. You will have overall responsibility for daily operations during your shifts and work actively to train, guide, and motivate our team. Your main responsibilities include: Lead and distribute daily work in the cash register and dining room. Inventory stock and prepare order lists for food and beverages. Plan schedules for cashiers, servers, and food runners. Handle bookings for groups, event venue, weddings, and Christmas celebrations. Manage operations including opening and closing procedures. Drive the development of the business forward together with the owners. We seek a strong and confident personality with natural leadership qualities who thrives in a social and international environment where the pace is sometimes very high. Our business operates year-round but has a clear seasonal character – April through September is our peak season, December is dominated by Christmas celebrations, while January through March offers a more relaxed pace. To succeed in this role, we believe you: Have solid leadership experience and have previously worked with personnel responsibility in the industry. Have experience with events and preferably have worked with weddings and larger orders. Are flexible and stress-resistant with strong organizational skills.
