Navet is Umeå's largest swimming hall and water park located in the city center. Our restaurant is now embarking on an exciting development journey with several initiatives to create an even better experience for our guests. We are now looking for an engaged and positive restaurant assistant who wants to grow with us!
About the position
In our food service, we prepare fast food items as well as cold dishes such as sandwiches, salads, and some baked goods. We also sell café pastries, ice cream, candy, and soft drinks.
As a restaurant assistant, you are an important part of our daily operations. Your duties will be varied and include:
- Serving and customer service
- Cash handling
- Preparation of fast food
- Preparation of sandwiches and café pastries
- Dishwashing, cleaning, and tidying
- Restocking items and self-inspection
- Contributing to a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests
About you
- High school diploma from a restaurant and food service program
- Good knowledge and experience from working in a restaurant and/or café
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and self-inspection (HACCP)
- Good teamwork skills
- Take responsibility and work with attention to detail
- Want to work in a service-oriented environment where the customer is always in focus
Other information
The main workplace for this position is Navet. During the summer, Navet also opens its outdoor heated facility UmeLagun, which also has a restaurant for swimmers. During the summer, staff work at both Navet and UmeLagun.
Working hours are scheduled during day, evening, and weekends.
