About the Role
Uniflex is now seeking a traveling service technician for an exciting assignment within an essential public service. In this role, you will work with technical installation in bus and train environments and contribute to ensuring that public transportation operates safely and efficiently every day. You will be employed by Uniflex and work in project form together with a small, dedicated team at our client, where the work is performed in vehicles throughout Sweden.
Work takes place mainly during daytime, but evening and weekend work may occur. Travel within Sweden is a natural part of the position, and overnight stays away from home may be necessary.
You will travel from home to the assignment location and are often away for weeks at a time.
Main Responsibilities
In this role, you will mainly work with:
• Installation and assembly of technical equipment in buses and trains
• Work with IT and electronic systems such as payment systems, cameras, and other vehicle-related technology
• Deinstallation, troubleshooting, and upgrading of existing systems
• Interpretation of electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Project work together with colleagues, where you gradually take on greater responsibility
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest and experience in technical installation or assembly. You are practically minded, thorough, and enjoy working hands-on in an environment where quality and safety are in focus. You also have a good understanding of electronics. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and work well with others.
Qualifications:
• B-class driver's license (required)
• Previous experience with technical installation or assembly (required)
• Experience reading electrical schematics or vehicle electronics (desirable)
