They are now seeking a mobile service technician who wants to become an important part of the team and work with service and installation of advanced industrial equipment at customers throughout Sweden.
About the Role
As a mobile service technician at KMC, you will have a varied and independent role where you are responsible for installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of their machines at customer sites. You will work with equipment including blasting, tumbling, surface treatment, die casting, and balancing.
The work involves frequent travel throughout Sweden and several hotel nights per year. You will also travel to their suppliers in Europe for training, machine inspections, and technical reviews.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work with:
Installation and commissioning of new machines.
Mechanical maintenance, service, and repair of industrial machinery.
Troubleshooting and resolution of urgent production stops.
Preventive maintenance, machine inspections, and maintenance according to service plans.
Upgrades and modernization of existing equipment.
Technical documentation and reporting of completed work.
Technical advice to customers regarding operation, maintenance, and improvements.
Identification of spare parts needs and future upgrades.
We are looking for someone with a technical background and experience in mechanical maintenance, service, or installation in industry. You have a good understanding of industrial electrical systems, can read electrical schematics, and have troubleshooting experience. Experience with control systems or PLC is a plus.
We would like you to have:
Technical education at least at upper secondary level in, for example, mechanics, electrical work, automation, or equivalent.
Experience in mechanical maintenance, service, and installation in industry.
Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Ability to read drawings and technical documentation.
Category B driver's license.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Since the role involves many travel days, we see that you appreciate a mobile work environment and are comfortable working in the field.
Other Information
The position involves travel throughout Sweden and some travel within Europe for training and supplier visits. Work location is flexible, but we would prefer if you are based in Stockholm, Mälardalen, or southern Sweden since many of our customers are in these areas.
A service vehicle is provided from your home when possible, and you will have access to modern tools and equipment that give you good conditions to succeed in the role.
