About the position
Kretslopp Sydost is a municipal association responsible for the collection and treatment of household waste in eight member municipalities: Kalmar, Mörbylånga, Nybro, Oskarshamn, Sävsjö, Torsås, Uppvidinge, and Vetlanda.
We have approximately 120 employees in various roles, with a shared mission—to collect, receive, and manage household waste in a responsible, efficient, and service-oriented manner.
A business in development
During 2026, we are facing several exciting changes. In all our member municipalities, a new collection system will be introduced with property-near collection using four-compartment containers. In connection with this, we are also carrying out a comprehensive renewal of our vehicle fleet, where all collection vehicles will be replaced with brand new vehicles.
To meet the future needs of our operations and ensure safe and efficient waste collection, we are now seeking new employees for our operations in Oskarshamn.
About the role
As a professional driver with us, you are an important representative of Kretslopp Sydost and one of our foremost ambassadors to our residents. We are therefore looking for someone who not only enjoys being behind the wheel, but also values professional and good customer service and wants to help provide our residents with the best possible service every day.
As a professional driver, you will be offered varied and active work with a high pace, plenty of movement, and significant personal responsibility. Your main task is to collect household waste according to planned routes. Depending on the route, a workday typically includes approximately 200–400 container emptying operations.
The work is performed with the help of modern navigation and system support. All emptying operations and any deviations are recorded digitally via the vehicle computer. Driving and collection take place both in urban and rural areas, which means that workdays can vary and that you will encounter different types of environments and customer situations.
The work is performed largely independently, but you are also an important part of a larger team. Our employees work closely together and we place great emphasis on collaboration, responsibility, and helping each other when the situation requires it. We support each other in daily work and share responsibility for executing our tasks with high quality, good service, and maximum safety.
Who are we looking for?
For this position, the following are required:
C driver's license
Valid professional competence certificate (YKB)
Just as important as your formal qualifications is who you are as a person. We are looking for someone who is responsible, driven, and engaged in their work. You have a positive attitude, are solution-oriented, and have a strong desire to contribute to the development of our operations.
You need to be able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while also enjoying being part of a team. Since you meet with residents daily, it is important that you have a professional and service-oriented approach.

Working hours
Working hours are scheduled during daytime, 4 days per week with a rotating day off each week.
