Your Assignment This is a full-time project position until summer with the possibility of extension, starting by agreement. Your main task is to secure relevant apprenticeship placements (APL) for our students in the electrical and energy program, construction and civil engineering program, plumbing and property management program, and automotive and transport program. You work proactively by contacting companies and building long-term partnerships with local businesses. You match students with suitable workplaces and introduce them to their apprenticeship placements. You also ensure that the workplace and supervisor receive the information needed to receive the student. During apprenticeship periods, you conduct workplace visits and follow up on how things are working for both the student and the workplace. You identify any difficulties and contribute to solutions together with the student, supervisor, and responsible vocational instructor. This position does not include assessing student knowledge or grading. That is the responsibility of the teaching vocational instructors. Your task is to follow up on placements, gather feedback, and communicate relevant information to the responsible instructor. You also coordinate the school's local program council. This involves maintaining contact with industry representatives, inviting participants, planning meetings together with school leadership and teachers, and documenting and following up on decisions made. The work includes documenting apprenticeship placements, business contacts, visits, and follow-ups. We work in both Google and Microsoft environments and communicate primarily through SchoolSoft. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a large and relevant network within the electrical, construction, plumbing, or automotive industry in Kristianstad and surrounding areas. It is particularly advantageous if your network covers several of these industries. You have good knowledge of the local business community and are experienced in building professional relationships. You are comfortable taking your own initiative, contacting and visiting companies, and presenting the school's operations. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You need to be relationship-oriented, trustworthy, organized, and solution-focused. You work independently but collaborate well with students, supervisors, vocational instructors, and school leadership. You have good communication skills with young people and can prepare, motivate, and support students as they enter the working world. You need to be clear and attentive, and able to communicate workplace requirements regarding attendance, responsibility, safety, and professional conduct. You communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good digital skills. You need to be able to work in both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Since this position involves regular workplace visits, a Class B driver's license is required. It is advantageous if you have professional experience from one of the relevant industries, as well as experience with apprenticeships, business contacts, working with young people, program councils, or collaboration between education and the workplace.
