Trojenborgsskolan is a grades 7-9 school located in the pleasant Skänninge area, a bit outside central Mjölby. Skänninge offers good transportation connections via commuter and bus services. Trojenborgsskolan has approximately 200 students, and the staff group possesses broad experience and expertise. This position is part of the Education Administration, which is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments and is responsible for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, adapted primary and upper secondary school, and adult education. With approximately 1000 employees, we offer education that promotes all children and students in lifelong learning and work according to the direction "high academic achievement in a school where everyone can and wants to be." We place great emphasis on working close to operations through regular dialogue and support to school leaders and teachers based on the management chain. 1 position(s). DUTIES As principal, you coordinate and develop the pedagogical work in the operation based on established goals in national, municipal, and local policy documents. Your role includes developing systematic quality work, forms for student participation, and parental involvement. You are also responsible for the unit's organization and allocation of resources. You collaborate with other upper secondary schools in the municipality to create an equitable school for the municipality's students. You work with concrete daily operational issues while being aware of how they affect the entire organization's goal achievement. As principal, you are the employer's representative and have personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility. You are part of the principals' management group together with other principals and assistant principals. You report to the Operations Manager for grades 7-9, upper secondary school, and adult education. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • pedagogical higher education • good knowledge and previous experience in pedagogical work • previous experience working as a manager It is meritorious if you have: • ongoing or completed principal training • experience and knowledge of working within the later part of primary school We are looking for you who has the ability to make quick and clear decisions both independently and together with others.
