About the Position
Tellusskolan is seeking a principal for the Robinson principal area in Enköping. The assignment encompasses four smaller school units – Fanna, Husberg, Svedia, and Vårfru – with a total of approximately 400 students. The units work with both outdoor pedagogy and problem-based learning. We also place great emphasis on values-based education.
As principal, you will have overall responsibility for operations, staff, and finances. You will lead and develop the pedagogical work with a focus on students' goal attainment, safety, and a good learning environment. Your assignment includes conducting systematic quality work and ensuring that operations comply with applicable governing documents.
You will be part of an experienced leadership organization where you have support from two assistant principals and four unit leaders.
Organization and Support
Tellusskolan provides excellent conditions for the principal role through central support functions in HR, finance, facilities, communication, administration, IT, and student services.
The organization actively works to streamline administrative processes with AI support. Your assignment includes leading the development of teaching toward increased and purposeful use of AI in operations. High IT maturity is therefore an important prerequisite for you as a principal.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
Relevant higher education with a pedagogical focus
Experience in pedagogical leadership within primary education, preferably as a principal or assistant principal
Good knowledge of primary school's governing documents and mission
Good knowledge of and experience in conducting student services work
High IT maturity and interest in digital development, including AI
It is an advantage if you have completed or begun principal training.
